ABOUT ME

I am an Assistant Professor of Technical and Professional Communication in the Department of English and the Director of Communications at Center for Humanities and Technology (CHaT) at the University of Cincinnati. I received a Ph.D. in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media and an M.S. in Technical Communication from North Carolina State University, as well as a B.A. in English from Tsinghua University.

My research and teaching focus on transcultural health risk communication, digital rhetoric of Artificial Intelligence, and information design. My work appears in journals such as International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction and Journal of Rhetoric, Profession Communication, and Globalization, and has received external research support from National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
